Digital India Week is launched by Hon’ble Prime minister on 1st July, 2015, followed by a week long (2nd July – 7th July) events of Digital India.
Haryana State is organizing a series of activities and programmes at the State, District, Block, Gram Panchayat, CSCs, Universities, colleges and School level for digitally empowering the common man and bringing about a digital revolution up to the village level. A specific digital program for each day of the Digital India Week be highlighted in the state for the citizens.

2000+ candidates have been registered so far during Digital India Week. As of 05-07-2015, 6025 number of candidates have already registered in the State. The break-up of these are 2781 Self Employment, 952 Asha, 96 Ration Dealers and 2196 General Candiadtes. NDLM courses are available at more than 780 CSC locations in the State.

Aadhar Based Digital Lockers have also opened for the citizens.

Aadhaar enabled Biometric Attendance System has been made functional at as many as 128 Organisations/ Boards/ Corporations in the State.

Description:
National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) Scheme has been formulated to impart IT training to 52.5 Lakh persons. Making one person in every family digitally literate is one of the integral components of the Prime Minister 's vision of "Digital India". To make a person IT literate, so that he/ she can operate digital devices, like mobile phones, tablets, etc., send and receive emails and search Internet for information, etc.
Eligibility Criteria:
Level 1 : Non-IT literate - Illiterate and upto 7th standard pass
Age:
14 to 35 years
Course Duration:
Level 1 : 20 Hours (Minimum 10 Days and Maximum 30 Days)
